Metallography in Practice Part 1 for Beginners

| 1025€The aim of this seminar is to impart theoretical and practical knowledge for the independent preparation of metallographic sections. In small groups, participants will independently separate, embed, grind, and polish samples from heat treatment processes.
For case-hardened samples, the case hardening depth will also be determined, and for nitrided samples, the nitriding case depth will be measured. However, the main focus is not on hardness testing of the specimens, but rather on imparting the practical kills necessary for producing metallographic sections.
