We are now looking for a full-time metallographer (f/m/d) for office and field service. You will support us in evaluating the structure of metallic samples. Also, you are ready to face us
To support customers in Germany and Europe in the area of identification testing using arc and spark discharge and the calibration of spark spectrometers. After a short training period, you will carry out these activities independently and on your own responsibility.
Ideally, you have
- Completed training as a metallographer
- Good knowledge in the field of microstructure assessment of iron, aluminium, copper, nickel and titanium materials
- Good knowledge of damage analysis using REM/EDX
- Ideally very good knowledge of mobile and stationary spark spectrometry, statistics and calibration of optical emission spectrometers and glow discharge spectrometers
- good written and spoken English knowledge
- High willingness to travel
- Very good team skills
- High resilience
